Sarah Saturday Presents: The EIY Workshop & Scene Meetup on Vans Warped Tour 2010

Warped Tour Summer 2010 -- Kevin Says Stage developer and co-booker Sarah Saturday presents a daily workshop and meeting during the 2010 Warped Tour in conjunction with her philosophy-based music resource website, www.earnityourself.com. The Workshops and Scene Meetups will include "roll call" for attendees to meet each other and exchange contact info for future networking within their local scene; a Q&A session with a panel of people from the tour including the founder of the Warped Tour, Kevin Lyman; and distribution of the FREE "EIY Handbook" which includes 50+ questions asked by members of the EIY community and answered not only by Sarah, but also dozens of well-known artists and individuals in the music industry, including:

Sarah Saturday is a musician, music business professional and founder of the EARN IT YOURSELF philosophy, an all-new approach to the music industry complete with a resource and networking website, EARNITYOURSELF.COM. Sarah's band, GARDENING, NOT ARCHITECTURE, is a musical collaboration with engineer/producer Beau Sorenson that began in 2004 but officially launched in 2008. In that time, Sarah has self-released an EP and full-length album, and played over 150 shows on the road while also running the EIY website and managing her design firm The Weekend Group.

Described as "The Evolution of D.I.Y." in the July 2005 edition of Alternative Press Magazine, the EARN IT YOURSELF philosophy began as a print zine written and published by SARAH SATURDAY and became a full-scale website with partner Ernst Schoene-Rene (of BYOFL.org) in 2006. The idea behind the movement is to teach individuals how to use a philosophical approach in reaching their life goals.
